People wishing to adopt often send a "Dear Birthmother Letter" as a means of introducing themselves to a birth parent wishing to place a child for adoption. The letter contains photos and information about the potential adopting family. Included are thoughts on any number of things you can imagine a parent might want to know. Subjects typically covered include values, extended family, location, career, religion, health, pets, education, recreation and more.
The letter is just an introduction. A birthmother who feels that a family might be a good match will contact them, often through their adoption professional, to arrange for phone calls, emails, and possibly meeting in person.
Since 2002 we have helped many people on this part of their journey to form a family, usually under the guidance of their adoption professional. Prices start at $100 per page for layout.
